Teachworthy launches!

You’ve heard of the outstanding reputation and quality of intern candidates produced by ACT San Antonio, ACT Central Texas and ACT Houston.  We are thrilled to announce that these great programs have joined forces with the Flippen Group and Capturing Kids’ Hearts to form the new company Teachworthy.

The commitment to providing the highest level of service and support remains unchanged.  You’ll always receive a response from us within the next business day.  Our program advisors will continue to all be former educators.  Our field supervisors will continue connecting more than twenty times throughout the year with candidates to coach, mentor and support them in their journey.

WHAT’S NEW?

Web-based interactive modules will include all you’ve come to expect from us, including:

  • Behavior Management
  • Curriculum & Lesson Design
  • Equity in the Classroom
  • Teachers as Leaders
  • Frameworks for Teaching
  • Reading Strategies

Starting in 2019, every new Teachworthy intern candidate will also attend the award-winning Capturing Kids’ Hearts Training as part of their certification process.  These live 2-day trainings will take place prior to the start of school in most cases.

Capturing Kids’ Hearts Training has used research-based strategies for over 20 years to transform classrooms into high-achieving centers of learning.  When kids and teachers are connected relationally, there is a significant positive transformational effect on the 5 key indicators of school performance, including:

  1. Decreased Discipline Referrals
  2. Increased Student Achievement
  3. Increased Attendance Rates
  4. Increased Graduation Rates
  5. Increased Teacher Satisfaction

A Job Portal has also been added to our website allowing districts to post open positions for free and search our database for qualified candidates.

We are excited about this partnership and believe these enhancements will bring stronger teaching candidates to your students and classrooms.
